(SEATTLE, WA.) — With his recent honoring on the Hollywood Walk of Fame to an upcoming US tour, entertainment icon Ice Cube is not slowing down.
KOMO News Anchor Holly Menino talks with him about the Big3, which is his professional 3-on-3 basketball league. Big3 Season 8 tips-off on June 14th.
He also weighs in on the eventual return of the Supersonics to Seattle and NBA expansion.
“The fans want to see it happen and we not even from Seattle. It’s been a missing link in the league for so long you need to put that piece back,” said Ice Cube.
Ice Cube also has a new album and is preparing for an upcoming US tour celebrating his 40 years in the music industry. His “Truth to Power” tour will make a stop at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle on September 19th.
“It’s time to celebrate those 40 years with a big production and I’ve been to Seattle many times, but I haven’t been to Seattle with something like this. It’s going to be a great production. I haven’t done it like this since the “Up in Smoke” tour. I’m looking forward to doing a lot of songs that people usually don’t see,” said Ice Cube.
