A beautiful day is coming to the Tri-State on Friday, that’s just ahead of an extended heatwave for us. The sky has mostly cleared out, and the temps will drop to the mid-60s by daybreak.
Friday’s weather will be nearly the perfect definition of seasonal, with highs reaching the mid-80s by the afternoon, with only a touch of humidity.
The weather pattern changes on Saturday as a mid-July type high pressure sets up over the Carolinas, which will pump in the warm and moist air for several days. In fact, we could see heat indices reaching the triple digit,s and this would likely trigger a Heat Advisory for us.
