JACKSON, MI — The Jackson County Animal Shelter, 3770 Spring Arbor Road, has many pets available for adoption.
Here are two of them.
Tessa is a 2-year-old American Staffordshire mix who came in as a stray.
This little bundle of joy is friendly and happy. She is house trained and a nice size at 37 pounds. Tessa has lots of energy and like to play.
She gets along with most other dogs and she was not reactive in the cat room. Tessa wants to please and is focused on her human. She has pretty amber colored eyes and likes to snuggle.
GG is a female 1-year-old orange tabby cat that came in as a stray. She is on the smaller size at just 7 pounds.
GG will come to greet you and she likes to be petted or held. She gets along well with the other cats where she is housed.
Orange cats are known to have lots of personality and GG is no exception. She has big pretty green eyes and a cute pink nose.
