RALEIGH, N.C. (WITN) – As families across the state prepare for summer camps and back-to-school requirements, the Department of Health and Human Services is making it easier to find free childhood vaccines.
This initiative is part of the Vaccines for Children program, which offers free vaccines for eligible children and teens, according to DHHS.
These vaccines include all those recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Users can search for providers by their city or ZIP code.
In addition to the map, families can also:
- Check if they are eligible for free vaccines
- Access up-to-date information on required and recommended vaccines
- Find answers to common questions about vaccine safety and more
